SAE Institute Zurich was established in 1995 and has since then provided over 15.000 students with first class education in audio engineering, music production and content creation. Our facilities offer five large scale recording studios and a few smaller production suites. We are located in Zurich, Switzerland and looking forward to giving you a tour if you happen to be near.

SAE Institute (School of Audio Engineering) is the largest global educator in the media field. It all started in 1976 in Sydney with an all audio school. Later, it grew and added film, game, web and code to its portfolio.
At SAE Zurich, you can do either a diploma or Bachelorâs degree. Itâs validated from the University of Hertfordshire in England. Due to the Bologna reform in the late 90ies, itâs a standardized degree all over Europe.
While we provide the latest equipment in music technology, we believe what really matters is how you get the best out of whatever youâre find in your work place. We train your creativity, so you wonât get lost or frustrated.
Weâre passionate about providing a friendly, nurturing, caring and fun environment. Our tutors and teachers are working in the industry and come in to teach the topic their most specialized in. This way our students can already make contact with the industry through our teachers and of course our staff.
Ableton Live is our DAW of choice for our Electronic Music Production Diploma and Degree.
We also offer short courses including Ableton Live and Ableton Push, or customized one-to-one tutoring.
